Special Programs at American Theatre of Actors, ATA

Every year at ATA festivals are held that give up and coming directors and playwrights their needed experience of producing works of art in a repertory venue.

• Summer Director's Festival: 6-8 new directors are given a chance to direct a dramatic or comedic play of a naturalistic format.

• Winter Playwright's Festival: 6-8 new playwrights are given a chance at having their play produced at ATA. We only accept dramas or comedies of a naturalistic format.

• Summer Classical Series: Every summer in the outdoor theater, 2 to 3 classic's by Shakespeare and the Greek Classics are produced at ATA.
